Image Rotator

Rotate JPG, PNG and WebP images by 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise. The rotation is baked into the pixels, not just metadata — so it sticks in every viewer.

Fixing orientation issues

Image rotation is the cure for orientation issues — a photo taken in portrait that displays sideways, a screenshot captured in landscape that needs to be vertical, a phone photo with EXIF rotation that some viewers respect and others ignore. Baking the rotation into the pixels (rather than relying on EXIF metadata) ensures every viewer, every system, every platform displays the image correctly.

The 90°, 180° and 270° increments are special: they're the only rotations that don't introduce quality loss. Every other angle (45°, 12°, anything else) requires resampling — the pixels have to be re-interpolated to fit the new grid, which introduces blur. That's why most image rotators only offer 90° increments, and why we do too.

For batch workflows — fixing the orientation of a whole camera roll of sideways photos — batch rotation with a single 90° rotation applied to all images is fast and reliable. For mixed-orientation collections (some need 90°, some need 270°), split them into batches per rotation direction.
