PNG to PDF, for screenshots and graphics
PNG is the format of choice for screenshots, UI mockups, charts and graphics with sharp edges. Converting a series of PNGs into a single PDF is the cleanest way to share a multi-step workflow, a design exploration or a presentation deck without forcing the recipient to flip through a folder of images.
Because PNG is lossless, file sizes can balloon. A 4K screenshot easily hits 5 MB, and a 10-page deck of 4K PNGs becomes a 50 MB PDF — slow to upload, slow to preview, sometimes bounced by email servers. Run your PNGs through Compress Image first; you'll usually cut them to a tenth of the size with no visible loss.
One quirk: transparent areas in PNGs become solid white in the PDF. That's usually what you want for documents, but if your design depends on transparency (a logo over a colored background, say), flatten the transparency yourself in an editor with the right background color first.
