From spreadsheet to shareable PDF
Spreadsheets are meant to be interactive — that's their power and their danger. Sharing a raw .xlsx with someone who shouldn't edit formulas, paste in junk data or accidentally delete a column is asking for trouble. A PDF version of the spreadsheet freezes the data in a known good state, while keeping the visual layout intact.
Excel's print settings matter a lot here. If you've set a print area, defined page breaks, hidden rows or set a print title to repeat on each page, those settings carry through to a well-made PDF. If you've never touched them, the output will be whatever the converter decides — which can mean awkward page splits and cut-off columns.
Before this tool ships, you can use Word to PDF or TXT to PDF for simpler cases. Once Excel to PDF is available, it'll be the right choice for any spreadsheet you want to share read-only.
